Epic Mickey was released in the year 2010 on November 25th in Australasia and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, in Europe on the next day, and in North America on the 30th. As far as we know, there are no differences between these versions other than the text language. Since text boxes in Epic Mickey have a set length of 34 frames (50 frames if it scrolls down before it closes) you’re free to speedrun the game in your native language without any consequences.
In 2011 on August 4th, another version of Epic Mickey was released to Japan. Text is the same speed in this version, but there are several other crucial differences. Japanese is presumed to be the fastest version in every category except for Any%, where the earlier releases are timed to save about a minute.
